Imagine playing classic mario games and N64 games that you used to play back in 1999 and 2000. Now, you can play all these games from your Wii, without ever having to pay a dime.

Emulators and HomeBrew games are also available with the softmod on your Wii. This means that any special games made just for softmodded versions are now available to you. There are tons of places where you can go online to find these special games, and it’s well worth your time if you want to do so. Any copied games can also be played with the applied softmod, so if you have a copied game, you can now play it on your Wii.

The Wii has a DVD playback feature that you normally won’t be able to use. With the softmod applied, however, you will be able to watch DVD movies directly from your Wii, making it much more flexible than before. Imagine using just your Wii for all of your entertainment needs, now that’s a great console.

The Nintendo Wii is an excellent gaming system that brings a lot of new gaming features to the table. The fact that it was limited is a shame, but that can all be taken care of with a simple softmod, and you can take your Wii experience to a whole new level.
